The Android application started as a personal project to replace my Franklin electronic dictionary. Employing Android's voice recognition and Text-to-Speech playback capabilities made it fun to use. Voice Dictionary app accepts a spoken or typed English word to define. Share the definition to a Facebook wall or Twitter feed, also send the definition to the device via SMS, and/or TTS.
